YO, IT'S TIME FOR BRACES

This site was awarded the first place prize for Thinkquest Junior 1999 in
the category of Health and Sports. This team of fifth graders from New York
City created this website to help kids and their parents know what to expect
when they have orthodontic braces and appliances. The website has advice
from more than 20 orthodontists and dental specialists. Eight orthodontists and an oral surgeon answered a long survey about their childhood, dental school and work with kids. There is a journal, a cartoon story, celebrities page, soft food
recipies, history, links, lots of pictures and a guestbook full of comments
from kids all over the U.S. and around the world.
