organization and higher-order chromatin structure. The first on-line lecture,

by prominent individuals within the field. The purpose of this resource is to
provide free teaching materials for lectures, study materials for students, and
contemporary review materials for research professionals. And, as an
introduction to the fundamentals of nuclear structure, this site provides links
to an excellent source of introductory material on the web written by Gwen
Child as well as additional related web links.
Employing both a current trend in cell nucleus research and the multimedia
capabilities of the world wide web, cellnucleus.com serves as a resource
for movies of dynamics in the cell nucleus, cataloguing resources on the web
and providing a repository for movies demonstrating dynamic phenomena
in living nuclei. Finally, we include resource links for researchers in the
field to help them locate recent publications (temporarily off-line),
methodological information, positions available, conference announcements,
sources of specialized equipment and image analysis tools.

under pressure of time and dazzled by multimedia bells and whistles.
